What is a consignment store?

A consignment store is a place that sells other people's quality merchandise for a percentage of the sale. Many consignment stores specialize in something, like clothing, or in our case, fine home furnishings and antiques. The Clearing House is not a flea market, nor do we compete with antique stores. We are a great alternative to auctions, garage sales, and newspaper ads. We're a recycling station -- a place for people to buy or sell a houseful, a roomful, or a single item.
